Dolomites | Ando Fuchs was born in San Candido and raised in Sexten in South Tyrol (northern Italy). He has lived most of his infancy with a foster family after the early death of his parents. He now lives and works in Sillian (Austria) near the Italian border.

Ando got started in photography in 2009 coming from a completely different background and without any formal education in the arts. Even though he initially lacked direction as most artists do at the beginning, over the years Ando has devoted himself entirely to photography, mastering his knowledge and skills of the 8th art!

Ando’s turning point was a trip to Venice which radically changed the way he approached photography thanks to the beauty of the city itsself. Ando is not concerned with technical perfection in photography. Rather, he focuses on the emotions that his images convey.

Ando’s photos have been used as a reference in terms of black and white creativity and style in colleges, universities, and photography schools around the globe including South Korea, Japan, India, Australia, Usa, Canada, Poland, Portugal, and England. return.
